Science Mall
From preschool explorers to curious teens, there's something to discover for every age. Across three floors of interactive experiences, every twist, tap and turn unlocks a new discovery. Build, test, experiment and problem-solve together as curiosity takes over, with exciting science waiting around every corner.

Spooky Shadow Puppets (Ages 8 and under)
Bring your shadow puppet to life using light and shadows.
Newton Disc in a Cauldron (Ages 8 and over)
Can you reverse the rainbow? What happens when we mix different colours of light? In this workshop you'll create a spinning disc to discover how light works!
Meet the Expert
Meet real scientists, engineers and health experts and discover how science shapes the world around us. From marine conservation and human health to life-saving skills, there are plenty of opportunities to ask questions and learn from the people working at the forefront of science and innovation.
Science Show Theatre
Spellcasting School
It's the season of magic and mystery. Join us in the Science Show Theatre and discover the science behind some spellbinding demonstrations. (All ages)

The Planetarium
Enjoy one of our live presenter-led star shows or full-dome animated films in our immersive 360° planetarium.*

See science, nature and adventure on Scotland's biggest screen. With stunning 3D experiences and family favourites throughout the holidays, the IMAX adds even more excitement to your day out.

However, if you're looking for feature-length IMAX action over the holidays, we've got Queen Budapest, Always Lalisa and Arrietty to choose from.

Eating & Drinking
Need a break? Head to the café or the coffee shop in the IMAX Theatre foyer for something tasty. Enjoy hot meals, light bites, fresh sandwiches and kids’ favourites, alongside tempting cakes, pastries and a variety of drinks to keep you fuelled for the day.

IMAX mini-blockbusters and Planetarium experiences can be purchased as add-ons to day tickets either online or in person.
