Our Opening Hours
We are now operating our autumn hours. We are open from Wednesday to Sunday and on local school holidays from 10 am to 5 pm! We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
On weekdays during school term time, we regularly have education groups visiting. As a result, the centre can often feel busier and noisier than expected. Where possible, we recommend visiting after 1 pm, or alternatively at weekends for the best experience if you prefer the gallery floors to be quieter.
The Coffee Shop in the IMAX operates from 9.30 am on days that the science centre is open.
Opening hours are subject to change.
N.B. The Planetarium will be temporarily closed from 2 - 15 September 2024 for upgrade works to our software and projection systems. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause to those visiting during this period.
