Home Educator Visits
Home Educators are welcome to visit Glasgow Science Centre at a discounted rate on select dates.
Prices
Prices for access to the Science Mall are:
- Children (3-16 yrs): £4.00
- Children (0-2 yrs): £0
- Supervising adult: Free (one per family)
- Additional adults: £4.00
Tickets for IMAX 3D documentaries and Planetarum shows can be added on for £3.50 per person.
To qualify for a home educator visit the group must include at least one child of primary or secondary school age.
Dates Available
Home educator visits are only available during school term time. Dates are as follows:
- September: 3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th & 30th.
- October: 1st, 2nd, 7th, 8th, 28th, 29th & 30th.
How to Book
There is no need to book in advance simply request a home educator visit on arrival at the ticket desk.
Home Educating Groups
If you are a group of Home Educators working together and have a 10 or more children of the same age/learning level visiting together we may be able to offer you access to other activities that are available to schools. Please contact us to at [email protected] discuss.
Science Passports
Some Home Educators prefer to take out our Science Passport giving unlimited access to the Science Mall throughout the year. You can purchase a Science Passport online.
