School Visits - March 2027

A school visit to Glasgow Science Centre includes one activity for £7, or for an extra £3 per pupil, you can book two. All activities are subject to availability. The activities running in March 2027 are outlined by level below.

Early Level - Nursery - Primary 1 

 

Planetarium - Space and Back Again

Live astronomer-led planetarium show: Learners explore the shapes and patterns that we can make in the night time sky before taking a trip through the solar system. On this journey they will learn more about the Sun, Moon and planets.

Planetarium - Into Space

Live astronomer-led planetarium show: In this journey across the solar system, discover where we get days, months, seasons and years from. By exploring the patterns of movement taken by the Earth, Moon and planets, learners will discover how these celestial bodies affect our daily lives

Planetarium - Passport to the Planets

Live astronomer-led planetarium show: In this tour of the solar system, learners find out more about our planetary neighbours and how they vary in size, temperature and number of moons. They will then compare it to Earth and explore the possibility of life beyond our own planet.

Science Show - Light It Up!

Dive into the amazing world of light and explore how we can use it to make a brighter future! In this show, learners will discover how light moves, where we get colour from and the invisible types of light that we can't see with our eyes!

Planetarium - The Solar System and Beyond

Live astronomer-led planetarium show: Learners will see the night time sky like never before, exploring radiations beyond the visible and how it changes the way we see space. We then travel beyond Earth and past the edge of the solar system, considering what other worlds can teach us about the possibility of life beyond Earth

Science Show - Light It Up!

Dive into the amazing world of light and explore how we can use it to make a brighter future! In this show, learners will discover how light moves, where we get colour from and the invisible types of light that we can't see with our eyes! Most suitable for S1 & S2

In addition to day visits for school groups of all education levels, we also offer term-length education programmes (Learning Labs). We run our STEM Futures workshops for Senior Phase students.
