Santa’s Sleigh Challenge
Santa’s searching for a new ride and he needs your help! Design, build and test an alternative sleigh to help Santa deliver on his present-giving quest. Takes place in the Design Studio, Floor 2 (ages 8+, sign-up.)
The Seasonal Science Spectacular
Join us for a science show, packed with exhilarating demonstrations and plenty of festive cheer. This is one show the whole family will not want to miss (all ages)!

Santa's Starry Adventure
Using the stars as our guide, we will follow Santa around the world as he delivers Christmas gifts. Help him find his way back to the North Pole using the North Star (ages 7 and under).
Winter Wonders of the Night Sky
Join us in the Planetarium to discover the delights of the truly dark nights, where you can wonder at the winter constellations before being whisked away on a trip to the solar system and beyond (ages 8 and over).
Space Explorers
Explore the night sky and take a trip to the Moon before flying through the solar system to see a planet up close (ages 7 and under).
The Great Solar System Adventure
Join our showman extraordinaire on a death-defying journey to the planets. Explore the wonders and perils of our Solar System in this breathtaking immersive adventure (all ages).

Festive Starlight Screenings
Starlight Screenings offer a unique movie experience. Revisit seasonal movie classics from Home Alone to The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Muppet Christmas Carol in the immersive setting of Glasgow Science Centre’s Planetarium. All our film screenings kick off with a seasonal tour of the cosmos, and tickets include a seasonal snack to enjoy during the film.
Santa's Galactic Grotto
The most magical Christmas journey in the universe. Embark on an unforgettable festive space adventure at Glasgow Science Centre. Journey through the stars in our Planetarium, help search the galaxy for Santa, then enjoy a magical family meeting with the man himself.
