Starlight Screenings at Glasgow Science Centre offer a unique movie experience! Revisit movie classics from family and seasonal favourites to iconic Sci-Fi's in the immersive setting of Glasgow Science Centre’s Planetarium. All our film screenings kick off with a seasonal tour of the cosmos and tickets include a snack to enjoy during the film.
Mother's Day
Make this Mother’s Day one to remember: gather your favourite people for a night out in The Planetarium, sing along, and soak up the joy.
Tickets for each film cost £16 per person and include popcorn and a drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available).
Mamma Mia!
Be a super trouper this Mother’s Day and treat your nearest and dearest to a feel‑good screening of Mamma Mia! (2008). Filled with the timeless songs of ABBA, this vibrant, joyful, and unapologetically camp musical is the perfect way to celebrate the special people in your life.

For family flicks, which take place during the day, additional snacks and drinks are available to purchase before the film starts in our cafe/coffee shop or vending machines on the Ground Floor.
For the adult screenings, which take place in the evenings, additional drinks and snacks will be available to purchase at The Planetarium.
