A playground for curious minds
Three floors of “so that's how it works!”, “I didn’t know that!”, and “let me try!”. With over 300 interactive exhibits, you’ll push, pull, tap and bash your way through a whirlwind of science and discovery.

Clever Camouflage (7 and under)*
Where have all the animals gone? Find out how different animals hide in the wild using “clever” camouflage and make your own “camouflaged” minibeast.
Cracking Communications (8+)*
Can you decipher the encrypted message? Drop in to the Design Studio on Floor 2 to crack the mystery of wireless communications! Help solve the secret message and meet engineering experts as you explore the technology behind Wi-Fi and mobile phones.

Castles Rock!
Delve into the science and engineering that underpin our amazing castles. This fun, interactive science show will bring castles to life, from their construction to destruction and how we preserve the castles that remain. (developed in collaboration with Historic Environment Scotland)

Enjoy one of our live presenter-led star shows or full-dome animated films in our immersive 360° planetarium.*

But that's not all - this September weekend, prepare to rock the dome.
Joining our ever-popular Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon is our brand-new Led Zeppelin Full-Dome Experience: a stunning collision of music, art, and visuals. 12 legendary Zeppelin tracks are brought to life with surreal environments, abstract imagery, and psychedelic motion filling The Planetarium ceiling. Get ready for a rip-roaring journey into the realm of tyrants in our jaw-some IMAX mini-blockbuster, T-REX 3D, or take a spectacular adventure around the world with six fascinating faunal families in Animal Kingdom 3D

Newton Flight Academy
Take flight without leaving Glasgow
Home to Scotland’s only full-motion flight simulators, Newton Flight Academy offers you the chance to take off to a destination of your choice...without leaving the ground!
This (30-minute) experience allows up to two budding pilots to take control of a light aircraft under the reassuring guidance of our flight instructors.*

Refuel your adventure
Take a break and enjoy something delicious at the café or coffee shop in the IMAX Theatre foyer. Choose from hot meals, light bites, fresh sandwiches, and kids’ favourites, plus a tempting range of cakes, pastries and refreshing drinks.

IMAX mini-blockbusters, Planetarium and Newton Flight Academy experiences can be purchased as add-ons to day tickets either online or in person.
Newton Flight Academy tickets do not include day entry to Glasgow Science Centre. If you would like to visit before or after your flight simulator experience, please click "continue shopping" after adding the Flight Academy experience to your basket to add Day Tickets.
