The Science of Whisky

Join The Good Spirits Company and our resident astronomer as they take you through a journey of The Science of Whisky. Taste six high-quality whiskies from around Scotland, featuring a variety of styles all chosen to complement a discussion of the science of whisky production, alcohol and astronomy.

You'll end the evening with the final dram of the night tasted under the twinkling stars of the Planetarium, where you'll be flown into space to explore clouds of interstellar alcohol and discover how everything in your glass came to be, forged in the heart of a dying star.

The Science of Whisky events on 12 January, 9 and 23 February 2024 have now sold out.
