Campervan and Motorhome Parking

We are aware that Glasgow Science Centre’s car park is often used by campervans and motorhomes for overnight stays.

While we are happy to welcome respectful campers to our car park, we ask everyone to read the following information carefully:

• We have no designated campervan or motorhome parking. During summer 2026, all campervans and motorhomes should park in the bus park at the very south of the car park, accessible from the SE end of the car park. This area is marked in red on the map.

  
• If no spaces are available in that area, please park as close to that area as possible, at the south end of our main car park.
• We have no electric hookups, or city water connections, and no pitches as such. All our car parking bays are standard size, and hard-standing.
• Please do not erect awnings.
• Please do not leave furniture outside when not in use.
• Strictly no BBQs or campfires.
• Please respect our neighbours and daytime visitors to Glasgow Science Centre by keeping noise to a minimum and the car park clean and tidy. Please use the bins provided.
• Glasgow Science Centre has a coffee shop and café.
• Toilets are for customers only, so feel free to come and enjoy one of our tasty treats. We do not have shower facilities.
• Please pay on exit, at the pay station (marked in yellow on the map) or at Glasgow Science Centre’s ticket desk during opening hours.
• You will require a validated ticket to exit the car park. Entrance and exit points are via the main car park’s two entrances, marked in green on the map. There is no exit via the barrier in the bus park.
• While we have no time restrictions on how long you can stay, we would expect most campervan and motorhome users to visit for only a night or two. If you are staying for longer, please visit Glasgow Science Centre during our opening hours to inform us of your intended length of stay.
• We hope we can accommodate many happy campervan and motorhome owners to our site. However, we reserve the right to deny entry at busy times, to those who do not respect our site, or to larger vehicles.

Vehicles are left in this car park at the owner’s risk. Glasgow Science Centre accepts no liability for loss or damage caused to any vehicle, or its contents in the car park.
