Pitchblack Playback - Amy Winehouse
Glasgow Science Centre partners with Pitchblack Playback to transform The Planetarium into a space for deep listening.
For one night only on 20 November, immerse yourself in Amy Winehouse's sublime studio albums at Pitchblack Playback's listening session in the dark, celebrating 20 years of her iconic 'Back To Black' - — plus the singles from her debut album 'Frank' as an appetiser.
No phones; no talking; no distractions; just you and the music.
Pitchblack Playback sessions have been described as:
"This sounds great” — Rick Rubin
"A fabulous idea" — Jay Kay, Jamiroquai
"The optimal way to listen to an album" — Max Richter
"This might just be my favourite new thing to do" — Nihal, BBC Radio 5 Live
Your ticket includes a recycled cotton Pitchblack Playback eye mask, enhancing the darkness of the Planetarium experience.
As recommended by The Guardian, What Hi-Fi?, GQ, Time Out, FT Weekend and BBC 6 Music.
*Please arrive by event start time as latecomers will not be admitted and refunds will not be offered*
