Inspiring pupils to reach new heights in STEM

Our brand-new Newton Flight Academy offers incredible learning experiences for S2 and S3 students.

In this full day experience, students will work together as scientists and engineers to carry out an air rescue mission. They will calculate their own flight plan and fly a full-motion simulator in this unforgettable, immersive learning experience.

The experience includes:

  • Pre- and post-flight academy classroom activities
  • Maths and physics theory and applications
  • Discussion and collaborative learning
  • Flying a full-motion flight simulator
  • Reflection and celebration of learning

Aligned with Curriculum for Excellence third and fourth level experiences and outcomes.

The experience is for a maximum of 18 students and runs from 1000 - 1430 Monday - Friday in school term.
