Virtual Submarine Tour with the Royal Navy
Wednesday 19 May – 11:15am – 12:00pm
Take a virtual tour of a Navy submarine, go behind the scenes and learn about the innovations and the practical engineering solutions within the vessel.
Construction Innovation with Morrison Construction
Thursday 20 May – 11:15am – 12:00pm
Take a virtual tour of a construction site, see how Morrison Construction uses the latest innovation and technology to design buildings on their sites. Hear how they use advanced low-energy construction to build sites with very low environmental impact.
Jet Engine Evolution with Rolls Royce
Friday 21 May – 11:15am – 12:00pm
Take a virtual an online tour of the Rolls Royce site at Inchinnan, go behind the scenes on the manufacturing journey to see how compressor aerofoils are made from beginning to end and understand their function within the jet engine. This workshop will also follow the evolution of the jet engine and how it has developed over the years to incorporate innovation as technology advances.
