How To Measure Acidity

Using some common household items, we'll show you how you can test to see if something is an acid or a base. This chemistry experiment must only be carried out with permission and under supervision of an adult.

You will need: safety glasses and gloves, red cabbage, tomato sauce, bleach, vinegar, fizzy juice, water, a bowl, and some clear containers. It's most likely to appeal to over 13s. View on YouTube.
