Get ready for science fun in our playground for curious minds! On weekdays through September 2025, we are celebrating the 850th anniversary of the city of Glasgow by offering free entry* to the Science Mall at Glasgow Science Centre for Glasgow city residents.
Come and enjoy three floors of "so that's how it works!", "I didn't know that!", and "let me try!". With over 300 interactive exhibits, you'll push, pull, tap, and bash your way through a whirlwind of science and discovery.
So, if you've never been before and always wondered what goes on inside our Clydeside building, or just haven't been in a while, get yourself along to enjoy this fabulous Glasgow 850 resident offer.

That's right! Glasgow Science Centre is an independent Scottish Charity (SC030809) creating interactive experiences that inspire, challenge and engage to increase awareness of science for all in Scotland. As a not-for-profit, we ask that you consider making a donation when you visit, pop into our cafe for a cuppa and a tasty treat, or stop by our shop for a souvenir of your visit. * Terms & Conditions
- This Glasgow 850 Resident offer is for free entry to the Science Mall at Glasgow Science Centre.
- The Glasgow 850 Resident offer can only be claimed in person, on arrival at our Ticket Desk.
- You must live in a Glasgow City Council area to claim this offer.
- All visitors must show proof of their resident status on arrival at the Ticket Desk.
- Visitors will be asked to show a letter or ID that includes their home address, for example, a Glasgow City Council utility/services bill or a driving license.
- Available on Wednesdays to Fridays in September 2025 between 10am and 3pm only. It excludes Friday, 26 September 2025.
