Funded Summer Experiences For Glasgow City Council Primary Schools

In partnership with Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Science Centre is delighted to offer fully funded free places on the following Educational Experiences in May & June 2026

Meet the Expert with NASA Engineers and Astronauts

Glasgow Science Centre are delighted to invite you and your P6 & P7 pupils to attend a Meet the Expert presentation and Q&A with a team from NASA on 10th June.

This exciting experience led by NASA Astronauts and Engineers will explore their careers and experiences at NASA both on Earth and in Space. This visit will also include time to explore the Science Galleries.

This experience is supported by Scottish Space School for the University of Strathclyde.

Pupils must be able to stay at Glasgow Science centre until 1400.

Planetarium - Space and Back Again

Live astronomer-led planetarium show: Young pupils are invited to ‘stay up past your bedtime’ and explore a beautiful star-filled night. They’ll learn about the daily patterns of the sky before visiting the spectacular Sun and Moon up close.

IMAX - Animal Kingdom 3D

Journey across planet Earth as we meet the mightiest families in the Animal Kingdom and find out how they keep the planet working as it should. Take flight with the birds, get busy with the insects, dive into oceans and coral reefs, meet reptiles and amphibians and get moving with mammals in this exciting 3D adventure.

IMAX - Ocean Odyssey 3D

Follow a three-month-old baby whale on a magical journey down one of the Earth’s great ocean highways to discover the incredible world of ocean currents - hidden marine rivers that flow around the Earth.

Planetarium - Into Space

Live astronomer-led planetarium show: Your students will leave Earth and take a trip Into Space to answer some big questions: Why does the Moon change shape? Why do we have day and night? And what causes the seasons?
