Marcel Jaspers Presentation: Small Islands Webinar

This is a recording from the Living with Climate Change: Small Islands webinar. The full event is available on the Our World, Our Impact Hub.

Marcel Jaspars is a professor at Aberdeen University within The School of Natural and Computing Sciences. He has had frequent contact with people operating at all stages in the in development of climate change solutions. Since 2014 he has been involved in the UN ocean treaty processes.

Our climate is changing, impacting on the lives and livelihoods of people across the planet. But who is being affected and why? Life on small island developing states (SIDS) such as Seychelles, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Mauritius is changing, despite these communities contributing little to the causes of climate change.
