Biographies

Anne and Steve are a wife-and-husband, author-and-scientist team.

Anne Brusatte was born in Bristol, England, lived in New York City for several years but now calls Edinburgh home. She taught primary school for over ten years in two countries and is very used to children knowing far more about dinosaurs than she ever will. She is the author of Dugie the Dinosaur, the first children's book about Scottish dinosaurs, and lead author of My Grandparents Were Dinosaurs and the upcoming 3D Dino Rumble.

Steve Brusatte is a palaeontologist who hunts and writes about dinosaurs. He is a Professor at the University of Edinburgh, but grew up in the Midwestern USA. He has named and described more than 20 species of dinosaurs and other fossils, written the Sunday Times bestselling popular science books The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs and The Story of Birds, and is the paleontology consultant for the Jurassic World film franchise and BBC's Walking With Dinosaurs.

Books by the authors can be purchased and signed by the authors in the Gift Shop at Glasgow Science Centre between 4pm and 5pm on Saturday, 22 August:
