Free Entry Weekend for our 25th Year!
Get ready for science fun in our playground for curious minds! On the weekend of 28 and 29 March 2026, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary year by offering free entry* to the Science Mall at Glasgow Science Centre for residents in our local G51 community.
Come and enjoy three floors of "so that's how it works!", "I didn't know that!", and "let me try!". With over 300 interactive exhibits, you'll push, pull, tap, and bash your way through a whirlwind of science and discovery.
So, if you've never been before and always wondered what goes on inside our Clydeside building, or just haven't been in a while, get yourself along to enjoy this fabulous G51 local resident offer.

That's right! Glasgow Science Centre is an independent Scottish Charity (SC030809) creating interactive experiences that inspire, challenge and engage to increase awareness of science for all in Scotland. As a not-for-profit, we ask that you consider making a donation when you visit, pop into our cafe for a cuppa and a tasty treat, or stop by our shop for a souvenir of your visit. * Terms & Conditions
- This G51 Local Resident offer is for free entry to the Science Mall at Glasgow Science Centre.
- The G51 Local Resident offer can only be claimed in person, on arrival at our Ticket Desk.
- You must live in a G51 postcode area to claim this offer.
- All visitors must show proof of their G51 resident status on arrival at the Ticket Desk.
- Proof of status entitles the holder and their immediate household to free entry to the Science Mall.
- Visitors will be asked to show either:
- Photo ID that includes their home address, for example, a driver's license
- A utility/services bill and photo ID in the same name as the bill, such as a Glasgow City Council utility/services bill and a Passport.
- Available on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March 2026 between 10 am and 5 pm only.
- Add-on experiences to visit the Planetarium or IMAX can be purchased separately on arrival at the Ticket Desk. View What's On.

Buying a Science Passport
The best way to purchase is online as you will be able to manage your Science Passport and renew through your online account in future and we will keep you up to date when your year is nearly up.
