A hugely interactive Science Mall

The Centre is home to hundreds of interactive exhibits throughout the three engaging floors of our Science Mall – why not start your journey by taking the lift up to Floor 3 and find out all about yourself in BodyWorks? Let your imagination run wild in our Be Creative, Be Innovative zone on Floor 2; and on Floor 1, be captivated by the hugely popular classics like the plasma ball, chaos pendulums and whispering dishes... Little Explorers can even take the helm of our ship on the Big Explorer!

Scotland's biggest IMAX and best Planetarium

The sheer scale of Scotland’s biggest-screen IMAX cinema will make your jaw drop and there’s a primal, instinctive urge to go ‘wow’ when it comes to gazing up at over 9,000 twinkling stars in our Planetarium. Seeing the night sky in all its glory and touring through the heavens with our friendly and well-informed star guides will leave a lasting memorable impression.

Glasgow Tower

At 127 metres, Glasgow Tower is Scotland's tallest freestanding building. At present the Tower is closed to the public due to maintenance and renovation.

Live science shows and things to buy

Be entertained by our live stage performances and captivating demonstrations in the Science Show Theatre, or find something you can take home for yourself and a gift, gadget or gizmo for a loved one in our intriguing shop packed with great ideas for enquiring minds!

Re-fuelling

If you need re-fuelled we’ve got a range of places to grab a bite to eat or a thirst-quenching drink – our main café serves a wide range of delicious hot and cold meals; a street café where you can pick up a tasty baguette or cake and a coffee; a snack bar in the IMAX for those looking for a treat for the film; and vending machines throughout the ground floor dispensing snacks and juice.
