Explore the workings of this unique piece of machinery,then take the 2 ½ minute ride as you travel over 100m skyward to the Glasgow Tower cabin to enjoy unrivalled views over the city and surrounding countryside.

In an emergency situation it may be necessary for visitors to walk a short distance. Therefore, wheelchair bound visitors cannot use the Tower lifts. Buggies and prams are not permitted in the Glasgow Tower lifts.

Glasgow Tower will close in adverse weather conditions such as winds over 40mph / 65kph. Check out the 5 day weather forecast.

Please note that the Glasgow Tower will be closed on Wednesday 14th of May as part of a regular maintenance programme.
