Visit the Glasgow Tower

Explore the workings of this unique piece of machinery,then take the 2 ½ minute ride as you travel over 100m skyward to the Glasgow Tower cabin to enjoy unrivalled views over the city and surrounding countryside.

In an emergency situation it may be necessary for visitors to walk a short distance. Therefore, wheelchair bound visitors cannot use the Tower lifts. Buggies and prams are not permitted in the Glasgow Tower lifts.

The Tower is open 7 days a week from 1pm until 4pm but is subject to operational factors and will not open in adverse weather conditions such as winds over 40mph / 65kph.

To avoid disappointment, please call our Contact Centre after 10am on the day of your visit and we will be able to indicate whether the Tower is in operation.
