As the city embraces sport as the host of the European Championships, come and energise your Friday night and learn the secrets of better health and wellbeing at GSC. Move your body, boost your mind.
Please note that this event is strictly adults only (18+). If you're lucky enough to look younger than 25 you must bring a valid form of photo I.D. Anyone under the age of 18 or without valid I.D. will be refused entry. Disabled access only can be booked by calling 0141 420 5000.

Spectacular live shows, interactive workshops and sporting challenges, so get stuck in!
All activities are included in your ticket, but some may be very popular so get there early to avoid disappointment. We also have food and drink to purchase throughout the building: why not tuck into some of our delicious Asian street food or cocktails at Taste café on the ground floor, or try a gin from our new Alba Gin Bar. Our café will serve food until 9.45pm so please be sure to get there in good time if you need to refuel.

‣ Wonders of the Night Sky (20 mins)
Join the Planetarium Team as we put you through your paces, investigating how to stay in shape in orbit, and breaking records with some of the fastest, furthest, and biggest spacecraft in history!
‣ Sportsball-ocks with Glasgow Skeptics
As the rewards of fame and fortune increase, so does the dedication and desperation of athletes who will do whatever it takes to win. Science is playing an increasing role in maximising our athletic prowess. Unfortunately, wherever science goes, quackery is never far behind. Join Glasgow Skeptics President Brian Eggo and food scientist Laura Alexandra-Smith as they take a light-hearted look at some of the preposterous products and procedures that have infiltrated the world of sports and fitness.

Come along and get a taster Yoga session with Studio 70. They will guide you through foundational yoga poses, breathing and mindfulness. Build your confidence with Yoga and take the first step (or downward dog!) to flexibility and calm.
