David Elder Lecture - Dr Benjamin Hamlington

"Using satellites to understand changing sea levels" with Dr Benjamin Hamlington

The continuous and near-global coverage of satellites has led to significant advances in our understanding of sea-level rise on both global and regional scales.

In this online David Elder lecture, which is presented in partnership with the Department of Physics at the University of Strathclyde, NASA’s Dr. Ben Hamlington will give us an overview of the sea level observing network, and how it connects to vital improvements in our understanding of the processes that drive sea level change.

The lecture will be presented at 19:00 GMT, Thursday 7 October 2021 on YouTube and Facebook Live. Links will be sent in your confirmation email.
