Climate Conversations Live

Do you wonder what impact climate change could have on your daily life, why it matters or what action you could take to help tackle it? If so, Climate Conversations Live are for you!

This autumn and winter, we are inviting some of the UK’s most respected experts working in climate science to Glasgow Science Centre for a series of three public events.

Each event has a different expert and theme. Professor Tahseen Jafry’s expertise is in social justice and climate change, Chris Stark’s focus is on our Net Zero targets and which policies we’ll need to achieve them, while Dr James Rae will explain the earth and environmental science that drives climate change.

Broadcast journalist and writer Sally Magnusson will host each of the events in the informal setting of the science centre.

Plus, there'll be plenty of opportunity for you in the audience to join the discussion and ask the big climate questions that are important to you.

You don’t need to be an expert, you just have to be interested in what’s happening to our planet - and our country. And, you'll leave feeling more informed and more optimistic about the actions we can all take to tackle climate change.
