Become A Volunteer

The volunteer scheme at GSC enhances our visitors' experience and helps to deliver our mission. Our volunteers are fantastic members of the team and can benefit from training, networking, skill development, paid travel expenses and discounts, not to mention an experience that’s out of this world!
You can volunteer in our Customer Service, Science, Marketing, Finance, and HR departments. Some of our key volunteer roles include:
•    Visitor Studies Volunteer – helping gather feedback, and recording and analysing the data.
•    Birthday Party Volunteer – assisting with children’s birthday parties at weekends.
•    Science Mall Volunteer – assisting visitors in various areas of the science mall.

Whilst we are not currently recruiting for the above voluntary positions at the moment, if you are interested in joining our volunteer team in future then please feel free to send in a speculative application detailing the type of opportunity you are looking for and your availability. We may not have anything suitable right away, but we hold applications for 6 months and will get in touch if anything suitable comes up. How to Book a Place

Schools in Glasgow Local Authority Only:
