Glasgow Science Centre (GSC) was delighted to be involved in the RAISE project, a collaborative project with science centres and academic institutions across Europe.
Co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, this project aimed to raise awareness and interest in STEAM employment.
As part of this project, GSC was involved in creating a number of educational resources including two lesson plans freely available for teachers and families to use. This includes our "Robyn and the Robin" short story, which explores stereotypes in science, and the creation of profiles of scientists from across the UK.
In addition, we hosted a week long job shadowing experience for project partners, who spent time getting to know how Glasgow Science Centre operates.
