Two girls working at a laptop in a coding workshop

Get creative, discover new skills and explore scientific concepts or the latest tech in the workshops that take place throughout the day at Glasgow Science Centre.

Your little ones could be investigating air and making a wind-powered car, or, learning how camouflage helps animals hide. You could be turning your hand to some computer programming to control a satellite orbiting a planet, or be amazed by presenter-led dissections of hearts and lungs. Led by our expert Science Communicators, workshops are a great opportunity to try something different.

These short, informal sessions are free to participate in with your admission ticket though are run on a first come, first served basis as drop-in or sign-up on the day of your visit. Workshops are pitched at different age levels, so be sure to check What's On on the day of your visit to find something that's right for your group.
