Glasgow Science Festival at GSC

Glasgow Imagines is the theme for Glasgow Science Festival this year, and Glasgow Science Centre is thrilled to once again be hosting an exciting range of events for visitors over the 7th to 17th June 2018.

Curiosity Live!

Join us for Curiosity Live! from 10am till 5pm each day to celebrate world-leading research and innovation happening now, right on our doorstep with people who are carrying out ground-breaking work in their specialisms of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Check out a full list and more information on the specialists and organisations who'll be here. Come and talk to them about their work, get involved in studies and participate in experiments and research.

Please note that entry to this event is included in your Science Mall ticket admission on these days.
12th June

The Pure Random Science Show

Where else will you find a live science show where you decide what experiments our scientists do by spinning the Wheel of Fortune? The Pure Random Science Show at GSC puts the audience in the driving seat for a spectacular demo-packed, interactive experience.

Tickets are £6pp. Shows run from 7pm till 7.45pm and are recommended for ages 8+.
9th and 16th June

Planetarium Lates

Spend a Saturday night under the stars with Planetarium Lates. These wonderful evening voyages through the cosmos, in the comfort of the Planetarium at GSC, are led by our expert astronomers. Using the power of our fulldome digital projection, you'll travel through the solar system and beyond to get up close to planets, stars and other galaxies.

Tickets are just £6pp. Shows run from 7pm till 8pm and are recommended for ages 8+.
17th June

Sci-Fi Sunday: Apollo 13

"Houston, we have a problem."

Ron Howard directs the tense historic drama of the 1970 lunar mission crisis experienced by the crew of Apollo 13. Re-live the true story of three astronauts and a NASA ground team whose combined courage and ingenuity helped avert a potentially tragic loss, at our Sci-Fi Sunday in the Planetarium from 7pm till 9.30pm.

Tickets are for ages 18+ and cost £9pp.

And of course, you can experience everything Glasgow Science Centre has to offer during Glasgow Science Festival. Tickets for entry to Glasgow Science Centre are available to purchase online in advance, or on the day of your arrival.
