Our vision is to set the global benchmark for science communication. To achieve this we aim to attract people with a variety of skills and experiences who can inspire, challenge and engage with our wide range of visitors.
Investor in People
In January 2007 we were accredited as an Investor in People. This award confirms our committment to achieving success through our people. Investors in People have also selected Glasgow Science Centre as a case study - a copy of this is available under the downloads section on this page.
As a 5* visitor attraction we are committed to giving our customers an excellent experience. Many of our posts require specific skills, however it is essential that everyone employed is willing to work in a team focussed environment and has excellent customer service skills.
National Training Awards
In November 2007, we were recognised as a Scottish Winner at the National Training Awards for the development of our Customer Experience Learning Modules.

Work experience
Due to the high demand for work experience and to ensure we can provide full support, we have to restrict the number of pupils we offer work experience opportunities to. All work experience applications should be made through Glasgow City Council Work Experience Unit.
