Little Explorer Days

Little Explorer Days are special days for 3-5 year olds. Each day has its own theme and includes a mix of workshops, drop ins, make and take activities, songs and time to explore the Science Mall. Little Explorer Days will be back in October, check out the dates below.

Up, Up and Away- Sunday 27th October

Air, air is everywhere. Find out about your lungs and explore your huff and puff. Play and investigate with bubbles and things that fly.

Sound Bites- Sunday 24th November

This noisy day is sure to be a 'hit' with little music makers. Join us for a sing song, make your own musical instrument and explore all the sounds around us.

Christmas Time- Sunday 22nd December

Help Santa on his starry adventure in our twinkly planetarium, write him a letter and get crafty with some puppet making at our Santa Stop!

Build It- Sunday 26th of January

Calling our mini engineers! You can help Humpty land safely and practice your building skills with Little Explorers. Plus, make your very own construction magnet to take home.

All About Me- Sunday 23rd February

You are all special and unique so let's explore all the amazing things you can do! Let's go on a journey through your body and see how it works.

Dino Dig- Sunday 23rd March

Come on a Dino Dig and see what you can learn from the fossils that are buried beneath our feet.  Learn about how to excavate a fossil and the tools that are used

Entry to Little Explorers Days is £7.95 per child with one accompanying adult free. Additional adults will be charged Science Mall entry. Science Passport holders get FREE entry to all Little Explorer Days. All Little Explorer activities will take place between 10am and 2pm.
