 inner page banner - qosThe fifth annual A Question of Science Quiz makes its anticipated return to Glasgow Science Centre on Thursday 22nd of October. World-renowned sport scientist Professor Greg Whyte OBE is this year’s guest of honour.

Professor Whyte Greg has worked with David Walliams, Davina McCall and Eddie Izzard amongst others to make 'ordinary people achieve the impossible' in amazing feats of sporting achievement and endurance. He’ll also talk of the way that events like the 2015 FIG World Gymnastics Championships and the 2014 Commonwealth Games drive uptake of sports to deliver a lasting legacy of improved health and wellbeing.

Greg joins our elite group of high-calibre speakers, including Brian Cox, Sir Robert Winston and Dara O Briain all of whom have hosted our annual Question of Science evening. Find out about previous A Question of Science events.

And the Winner is...

The annual Question of Science Quiz lets you exercise your mental muscles with a series of challenging rounds, hotly contested, for the reward of winning the coveted Question of Science trophy. Radio presenter and comedian Des Clarke returns as quiz master and will lead you through a series of multiple-choice brain teasers ranging from the easy to the truly puzzling. These will be interspersed with exciting demonstrations of some good fun science. Question of Science is unique as a great social night out, excellent as an icebreaker, really effective as a team building evening and a fabulous reward for goals achieved.

The Fine Print

• Tickets for tables of 10 are on sale at £950 (inc VAT) which includes a champagne reception, 3 course meal and entry into the Quiz.
• Dress code is lounge suit
• The champagne reception will start at 6pm with carriages at 11pm.

Ham hough and parsley terrine, toasted brioche, red onion chutney/ Mozzarella and confit tomato salad, black olive tapenade (V)
Chicken Balmoral, fondant potato, green beans, Whisky sauce/ Mushroom risotto with pesto (v)
