PARASITE
Splitting itself in two, a trypanosome parasite is caught reproducing. In Africa, the deadly parasites infect cattle and humans through bites from tsetse flies. Scientists are hoping to reduce the spread of disease by studying how the parasites and flies transmit diseases.
