Outreach Booking Guidelines

School Bookings

• The Science Circus usually visits a school for a minimum of 1 day for approximately 120 primary pupils or 300 secondary pupils per day.
• We will arrive at the school at least 1 hour before the first session to set up.
• Depending on the activity we might require some access to facilities at your venue e.g. power sockets, a sink or tables.
• We transport our kit in a big transit van so we need to know about access to the venue and parking.
• Our exhibits are heavy and are stacked on trolleys so they can’t easily be transported up stairs.  For this reason we would prefer a room on the ground floor or with lift access.
• We need tables for our exhibits (Exhibits measure 500 x 1000 mm and we bring around 2 sets of 10 exhibits for one class.)
• Bookings must be complete 4 weeks in advance of your event.  Once complete you will receive a confirmation letter.
