Mini Activity (Approx 30 mins.)

Suitable for P1 - P3 pupils.

Learn more about our creepy crawly companions when you meet our resident beasties ranging from wiggly worms to giant African snails!

Children will:

• discuss types of minibeasts and what makes them minibeasts (invertebrates).

• explore their features and learn how to group them using our big interactive sorting key.
  

• have the opportunity to meet our range of minibeasts.

This mini activity promotes powers of observation, the use of comparative language and helps to develop an appreciation of the natural world.
