Filming and photography
Glasgow Science Centre's gleaming titanium shell, glittering on the banks of the Clyde, makes it a firm favourite as a backdrop for filming and photography.
Inside, the possibilities for filming and photography are almost endless. Options include:
- Science Mall. Three floors of interactive exhibits, each set on open plan floors with panoramic views across the city
- ScottishPower Planetarium. One of Europe's finest planetariums where bright astronomical images can be projected on the glittering dome
- Science Show Theatre: home to an exciting array of live science shows where different experiments can be showcased
- Climate Change Theatre: the UK's only climate change theatre, featuring props, images and sound effects related to the environment
We are always happy to assist with requests for filming and photography. Requests for filming/photography for journalistic purposes are dealt with by the Press Office. Requests for commercial filming must be made in writing to Margaretta Richards and may be subject to a fee. All filming/photography must be arranged around our public schedule and for filming, a location agreement must be signed.
