CAR-azy Circuits

Workshop (Approx 40 mins.)

Suitable for P3 - P7 pupils.

The challenge is on… Pupils work collaboratively to design, build and race their own electrically powered CAR-azy cars!

Your pupils will learn how to construct a complete circuit using batteries, a motor, a propeller and a basic switch mechanism.  Then within their small teams they'll construct a working car out of recyclable materials and their circuit.  The workshop culminates in an exciting race.

We'll encourage your pupils to analyze problems, plan approaches, develop ideas and create and test solutions as they go along.
